  • Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the item’s retail price is required to place a pre-order.

  • Pre-Order Holds: Once your pre-order item arrives, we’ll hold it for 7 days. If it’s not picked up within this timeframe, the item may be released to other customers, and your deposit will not be refunded.

2. Special Orders Policy
If we don’t carry an item you’d like, we may be able to place a special order for you, subject to availability.

  • Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit may be required for special orders. We’ll confirm the amount with you at the time of the order.

  • Special Order Timeline: Special orders typically take 2-4 weeks to arrive, depending on the supplier. We’ll keep you updated on the status of your order.

3. Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that plans change! Here’s how cancellations are handled for pre-orders and special orders:

  • Pre-Order Cancellations: If you need to cancel a pre-order, please notify us at least 48 hours before the item’s release date. 

  • Special Order Cancellations: Special orders are final once placed, and deposits for canceled special orders are non-refundable.

4. Notification of Arrival
We’ll notify you when your pre-order or special order is ready for pickup.

  • Pickup Notification: We’ll contact you via email or phone as soon as your item is available.

  • Extended Holds: If you’re unable to pick up your item within 7 days, please contact us to request an extended hold. Extended holds are granted at management’s discretion.

5. Important Notes

  • Limited Quantities: Pre-orders are subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee all pre-orders will be fulfilled if there are supply issues beyond our control. We’ll do our best to keep you informed and provide options if this occurs.

  • No Price Adjustments: Prices are locked in at the time of pre-order, and adjustments will not be made if the retail price changes.

Trailside Games and Hobbies Loyalty Program Policy

1. Program Overview
Our Loyalty Program rewards customers with points for every qualifying purchase, allowing you to earn discounts on future purchases.

2. Earning Points

  • Points Accumulation: Customers earn 1 point for every $1 spent on qualifying retail sales.

  • Reservation Process: You may reserve a table in advance by visiting our store or contacting us directly. Reservation slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Time Limits: Reserved tables are available for three-hour sessions to allow everyone an opportunity to play. Extensions may be allowed if space permits, but please check with staff.

  • Walk-Ins: Walk-ins are welcome! If tables are available, you may use them for gaming, but please be mindful of others waiting for a spot.

2. Demo and Game Rentals
We provide a selection of games for patrons to try out in-store. Help us keep these games in good condition for others to enjoy.

  • In-Store Use Only: Demo games and rental games must remain within Ames Street Marketplace and should be used with care.

  • Handling and Resetting: Please handle all demo games carefully and return pieces to their original condition. Reset games as you found them for the next players.

  • Return Condition: If you notice any missing or damaged pieces, please let our staff know so we can address it promptly.

3. Community Cleanliness
Maintaining a clean and organized gaming area is a priority.

  • Clean Up After Play: Please dispose of any food or drink waste and reset tables after use. This helps us keep the space enjoyable for everyone.

  • Storage of Personal Items: Please store any personal items (such as game bags or supplies) safely out of common walkways. Trailside is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced items.

4. Food and Drink
Enjoying snacks or drinks while gaming is welcome in our store, but we ask that you keep these within designated areas and clean up after yourself.

  • Food and Drink Policy: Be mindful of any food or drink spills and avoid placing them directly on game tables.

  • Restricted Items: Please avoid bringing overly messy or strong-smelling food to help keep the space pleasant for all patrons.

5. Behavior and Etiquette

  • Respect Game Limits: If you’re using a reserved game for a popular title or a tournament, please stick to the time limit set by staff to allow others a chance to participate.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in a temporary suspension from using the gaming tables or other measures as deemed necessary by management.
