The Corrupted Coastline: An Obojima 5e One-Shot

Polewater Village, one of the towns on the east coast that were hit hardest by the tsunami a couple of months ago. But people would be happy if the tsunami were the only problem that came from the sea. Further down south, there is a swamp where some spirits have been acting strangely — more violently, and covered in a black gunk that seems to move on its own. A witch from the Fish Head coven was sent there, a young woman by the name of “Bim of the Beasts.” It’s been a month… no one has seen or heard from her since she went to the corrupted coastline. You are villagers — either part of Polewater Village, or simply traveling through. Either way, you are asked to help find Bim and bring her back alive.
